Multi-Qubit Systems: Highly Entangled States and Entanglement Distribution
نویسنده
چکیده
A comparison is made of various searching procedures, based upon different entanglement measures or entanglement indicators, for highly entangled multi-qubits states. In particular, our present results are compared with those recently reported by Brown et al. [J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 2005 38 1119]. The statistical distribution of entanglement values for the aforementioned multi-qubit systems is also explored. keywords: Multi-Qubit Systems, Quantum Entanglement ∗ Corresponding Author: [email protected]

Searching for highly entangled multi-qubit states
We present a simple numerical optimisation procedure to search for highly entangled states of 2, 3, 4 and 5 qubits. We develop a computationally tractable entanglement measure based on the negative partial transpose (NPT) criterion, which can be applied to quantum systems of an arbitrary number of qubits. The search algorithm attempts to optimise this entanglement cost function to find the maxi...
متن کاملHighly entangled multi-qubit states with simple algebraic structure
Recent works by Brown et al [4] and Borras et al [1] have explored numerical optimisation procedures to search for highly entangled multi-qubit states according to some computationally tractable entanglement measure. We present an alternative scheme based upon the idea of searching for states having not only high entanglement but also simple algebraic structure. We report results for 4, 5, 6, 7...

We investigate the properties of different levels of entanglement in graph states which correspond to connected graphs. Combining the operational definition of graph states and the postulates of entanglement measures, we prove that in connected graph states of N > 3 qubits there is no genuine three-qubit entanglement. For certain classes of graph states, all genuine k-qubit entanglement, 2 ≤ k ...
متن کاملEffect of random telegraph noise on entanglement and nonlocality of a qubit-qutrit system
We study the evolution of entanglement and nonlocality of a non-interacting qubit-qutrit system under the effect of random telegraph noise (RTN) in independent and common environments in Markovian and non-Markovian regimes. We investigate the dynamics of qubit-qutrit system for different initial states. These systems could be existed in far astronomical objects. A monotone decay of the nonlocalit...
متن کاملMax - Planck - Institut für Mathematik in den Naturwissenschaften Leipzig Inequalities Detecting Quantum Entanglement
We present a set of inequalities for detecting quantum entanglement of 2 ⊗ d quantum states. For 2 ⊗ 2 and 2 ⊗ 3 systems, the inequalities give rise to sufficient and necessary separability conditions for both pure and mixed states. For the case of d > 3, these inequalities are necessary conditions for separability, which detect all entangled states that are not positive under partial transposi...
